I am from South Brunswick, New Jersey and lived in New York, NY for four years prior to moving to the wonderful corn fields of central Illinois. As an undergraduate, I was the head μlab system administrator. The μlab is a student run computing initiative at Cooper Union in charge of all computing infrastructure for the Electrical Engineering department. I was also the Cooper Union ACM student chapter president, an ACM ICPC participant in 2008,2009,2010 and a Putnam participant in 2007,2008,2009 with positive score.

I enjoy programming, cycling and reading in my spare time. I also own a mountain unicycle.

My Erdös number is 3 (Ligo -> Farnoud -> Alon -> Erdös). If you consider only publications indexed by MathSciNet, it is 4 (Ligo -> Atia -> Sharif -> McElice -> Erdös).
